Following your dental trauma, your tooth/teeth were repositioned and splinted with a wire and white filling.

It is important that the splint stays on your teeth. Splints are normally left on the teeth for 2 or 4 weeks depending on the type of injury you had and helps the tooth/teeth heal in the correct position. However, due to limited clinical capacity, the splinting period may be longer.
Therefore, please
- Do not bite into anything with your front teeth
- Eat whatever you like on your back teeth (hard and soft)
- Get back to normal tooth brushing as soon as possible.
Once the splint is removed, you will be discharged to your dentist for all future follow-up care and this includes doing root canal treatment, providing, dentures, bridges or implants.
Thank you.
